Iran revealed a new self-manufactured UAV today (Monday), the largest produced to date by the Islamic republic. According to Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan, the "Fotros" tactical UAV is capable of flying for 30 hours and can reach a range of 2,000 kilometers - meaning that it can reach Israel.
According to Salami, the new UAV was developed by way of reverse engineering. "We analyzed all of the memory and computing systems of this aircraft, and we will soon have good news, not just concerning the RQ-170 UAV and the upgrade we performed to it, but also regarding further accomplishments of ours."
